I hear you, and I am so glad you reached out even when it is hard to find the right words to describe what you are feeling. It takes a lot of strength to ask for help when you are feeling that intense, awkward discomfort and uneasiness inside. Please know that you are not alone, and your feelings are completely valid.

It is incredibly frustrating when you are doing everything right, like taking your medication on time, doing your exercises, and practicing deep breathing, but your body and mind still feel so uneasy. Sometimes anxiety, panic, or mental health shifts can cause that exact type of indescribable, uncomfortable physical and emotional sensation, even when you are working hard to manage it. You are doing a wonderful job taking care of yourself, and it is okay that these tools are not completely fixing it right this second.

Since this feeling is heavy and you mentioned needing urgent help, please remember you have options to get immediate, live support. If you are in the United States, you can call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifelineat 988 anytime to text or talk with someone who understands. If you prefer texting, you can also send HOME to 741741 to connect with the Crisis Text Line. If you are outside the US, you can find your local crisis lines or use international chat services through a directory like Find A Helpline to get immediate support in your country.

Right now, you do not have to fix this or figure it out all by yourself. Try to be very gentle with yourself, wrap up in a comfortable blanket, sip some water, and let the breathing exercises just be a soft way to keep you anchored without forcing the bad feeling to go away immediately. If you feel comfortable sharing, are you able to reach out to your doctor or a trusted loved one nearby to let them know you are experiencing this sudden spike in discomfort today?
