They've been happening for a couple days now.

The immense feelings and crying. I feel so frustrated with myself and sad.

I grew up a mute most of my life. I didn't get the help i needed as a child but i also didn't do anything to better myself after graduating high school. i had no one to guide me and now I feel lost and purposeless.

I want friends so badly. Im so alone and its depressing. i wake up and its just me after my partner leaves for work. i can't deal with myself anymore, like my thoughts are too much. I want to talk to someone who will help me. or how do I help myself? how do I learn to live with it?

I don't mean to downplay your experience, but as for me, being alone isn't that bad. A lot of things can be done during that time.

Things like reading, learning new skills, or talking to people on a platform like 7cups :)

If you still want friends, though, then I'm sure there are some online groups where you can video call people or chat via messages, exchanging interests. Some may be mutes too who go through the same experience and would just like to someone to talk to (just like you). You can simply connect with them.

I felt that way too for the first couple of years but after almost 6 years its unbearable.

i can’t focus anymore. sometimes i get up to do what i said i would do or want to do but i just sit there because i don't see the point anymore.

i feel like being online is making me more depressed ? like i understand i can make connections but it makes me feel more disconnected because im talking to a screen and not a real person.

its depressing not being able to find genuine people in real life too. ive stopped being friends with people who i don’t see as good people a long time ago. how can they have morals when they can be thrown out the moment someone they hate is present?

ugh i feel so picky but i know i’m not because i know how easy it can be for people to take advantage of me. i genuinely think they always have good intentions. its like my empathy/sympathy is my enemy at times.

im sorry this is so long..

You're not picky. It's okay to have standards for the type of friends you want. Hateful friends are not good for your mental health, so it's good that that you did what you did.

And don't worry about it. I like reading longer posts at times ;)

You say 6 years of this? Hmm... That's quite a while. And I do understand that finding genuine people offline can be hard.

What do you like to do, though? Apart from wanting more people in your life, what do you like spending your time on? Gardening? Flowers? I'm sure there's something... I want to know.
