Panic attacks are a bully

Panic attacks sometimes can feel like a bully. You know how much it picks on you but you never know when it will come around the corner but you always have it on your mind knowing that it may pop up anytime. The punch to the gut, the fast heart rate and shaking hands. The sweating palms and feeling like the room is closing in.

Do you deal with panic attacks? How are your symptoms?

@Amira3

I get the same symptoms as you do... Yes anxiety is a bully in our heads.. it's a great point you have made..

Let's all find the courage to trust ourselves again and stop being controlled by anxiety🌱

What a frighteningly accurate metaphor. I do deal with panic attacks. I've also been and continue to be bullied. Regarding symptoms... Fear, racing pulse, being cold, tired, muscles tensing, difficulty breathing/holding breath, constantly, shame, guilt, thoughts of self harm, chest pain, joint pain...
