Sleep related anxiety

Does anybody else struggle with anxiety surrounding sleep? Like your stuck in a loop because you have this predetermined idea that you won’t be able to sleep and you stay up thinking about how you won’t be able to sleep and the thoughts themselves regarding sleep are your cause of anxiety. I just wish I could talk to people who have struggled with this in the past, and if so how did you manage or cope with it?

I've learnt to focus my mind by reading until my eyes tire, try to sleep and if after 30-40 minutes I'm still awake then repeat the process. I find K**dke Unlimited ideal for this.

My mind used to race and the more I tried to suppress the thoughts or anxiety the harder it became, I might get brief moments of calm but just fleeting before the thoughts returned with a vengeance, evil thoughts 🤪🤪

I listen to recordings when I go to bed. If you do a search, look for sleep stories, mediations, hypnosis...It is something for my mind to focus on while I drift off.
