Social anxiety disorder
lam in 12th standard and iam suffering from social anxiety. Its very hard for me to talk to anyone. Everytime i thought iam wired then others people will reject me or bully me or will laugh at me And it doesn't mean that iam not trying to overcome it. I dont want to think like this but my mind forces me. I almost tried alot to overcome my social fears. i always try to participate in every event of school i always try to give presantation in my class. but when i speak my hands started shaking. I forget my words. I cant make eye contact. lam just tired of it. I dont know why iam not like a normal human why i cant talk like other ones. Whenever i see my classmets are enjoying and talking confidently i feel more anxies and alone. I remember. One day i gave presentation in my class and everyone were clapping for me and even my teacher had also appreciated me she told me that i have a good fluenty in language that was a best moment for me that day i was feeling very confident but after a long period of summer vacation when first day i went school i totally loosed my confident and forgeted that even how to talk
@sympatheticIdea721 It seems frustrating to experience social anxiety and worry about how others may react. It is great that you have made efforts to participate in school events and presentations despite these challenges. Feeling tired of struggling with social interactions is understandable. What thoughts come up for you when you compare yourself to classmates who seem more confident?

I understand how challenging this can be. I struggled with social anxiety in school too. Here are a few things that helped me:
- Practice Deep Breathing: This can help calm your nerves before speaking.
- Positive Affirmations: Remind yourself of past successes, like your well-received presentation.
- Gradual Exposure: Keep participating in small social interactions to build confidence over time.
- Talk to a Counselor: They can provide techniques and support tailored to your needs.
- Focus on Small Wins: Celebrate every small step forward, even if it feels insignificant.
Remember, it’s okay to feel this way, and you're not alone. Keep pushing forward, and you'll continue to improve.
