Sometimes, the Pain Becomes Too Much
There is something I have been afraid to say out loud.
The debt, the losses, the fear of facing the people I owe, and the uncertainty about my future have taken a serious toll on my mental health.
Sometimes, I lie awake thinking about what will happen if I cannot repay the money. I imagine people coming to my home, asking for their money, and me having no answer to give them. I worry about my family's reaction, the shame I might face, and how I will ever get out of this situation.
These thoughts follow me everywhere. Even when I try to distract myself, they come back.
Sometimes, the pressure becomes so unbearable that I find myself thinking about suicide. I never imagined that financial mistakes and debt could bring me to a place where my own mind would turn against me like this.
I feel trapped between the mistakes I cannot undo and a future I cannot clearly see. I want to fix everything, but I don't know where to begin. I want to repay what I owe, but I don't know how. I want to give my family peace, but I am struggling to find peace within myself.
And perhaps the most painful part is that I have been carrying so much of this silently.
I don't share these feelings because I want attention. I share them because pretending to be okay has become exhausting. I need somewhere to be honest about what I am experiencing, without someone judging me for my mistakes or telling me how easy it should be to fix everything.
I know that money must be repaid and that my decisions have consequences. I am not trying to escape responsibility. I am simply struggling under the weight of it all.
Sometimes, I wish I could pause the world for a moment, breathe without fear, and feel that there is still a way forward.
I don't need someone to promise me that everything will be perfect. I need to believe that my life still has value, even with this debt, these mistakes, and this uncertainty.
I am sharing this because I don't want my pain to remain a secret forever. I want someone to understand that behind these numbers is a human being who is struggling, frightened, and mentally exhausted.
I need help finding a way through this. I need hope that my life can become more than my financial mistakes. And I need to know that even at my lowest point, I am still worth saving.

Oh my, this is so unfortunate! You are in a pickle it seems... The world is so messed up right now.
I'm sorry to hear that you are beat up and worn out... I am praying for a miracle right now.
Most people find themselves owing money sometimes and the fear of retribution is a real and valid fear.
I am proud of you for getting the courage to come forward with your testimony. Let's hope things work out.
Good luck! Please continue to update us on your situation...🌱
That's okay to share. And don't suffer in silence please. Share your problems with people you love. You are not alone. You are precious. Life has its own different faces. There is hopelesness, pain, frusturation and there is love, peace, silence of mind. I see you, I feel you. I felt the same so many times ( at least similar) and all I can tell is: everything changes. Nothing remains the same. So know that change.
Thanks for your motivation, but this pain is endless
Anxiety pain is very real and painful. I'm sorry for anyone who ever has to go through it. I don't believe the people who tell you to breathe are taught how to deal with someone who has panic attacks.
@AR56 Hello 👋 I can imagine how hard life gets. Sometimes difficulties make us feel powerless and awful. However no matter how hard it gets Allah will always be with you. Allah is always with you. He protects you in ways you can't realize. He is preparing what's best for you 🤍🤍🤍
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:214):
"Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you like that which came to those who passed away before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said, 'When is the help of Allah?' Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near."
Reflection: This verse shows that even the most righteous people felt deeply shaken and questioned when relief would arrive, proving that feeling powerless during intense hardship is a human experience acknowledged by God.
Surah Ash-Sharh (94:5–6):
"For indeed, with hardship [will come] ease. Indeed, with hardship [will come] ease."
Reflection: Repeated twice for emphasis, this verse promises that difficulty is never permanent and that ease is actively paired with every trial you face.
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:286):
"Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity..."
Reflection: A reassurance that no matter how crushing a situation feels, you possess the inner strength given by God to endure and overcome it.
Surah At-Talaq (65:7):
"Allah will bring about, after hardship, ease."
Reflection: A gentle reminder that light and comfort are guaranteed to follow seasons of pain and helplessness.
