It's so hard to deal with ungrateful who acts all nonchalant and careless after hurting you the most. I have these kind of people in my life for whom I have done so much. Had such bad experiences still they act like I am the problem. I don't know how to deal with these kind of people. Please anyone tell me how can I get out of these situations.....

You don't deserve to be mistreated.

Set your boundaries.

Learn how to be consistent with saying no.

And don't feel like you owe people who mistreat you anything 💛

I’m going through something similar with my wife. She holds onto trauma and most of it is decades old. I don’t think she realizes it, but it manifests in how her actions are affecting others namely myself. She doesn’t realize how a lie or a careless word or action affects me. I don’t think she hates or blames for me things that happened before she knew me, but I am the closest person to her and that means I’m in the blast radius. I think people get so wrapped up in their own situations and feelings that they neglect the people who are in it with them even when you’re the one offering the most help. And I’m guilty of this too, people take out their frustrations on their loved ones the most. I think people in self reflection often act like you’re the problem bc they can’t or won’t address what they see in themselves.

I know my wife loves me and that gives me hope things will get better. You have to do the work also. Stand your ground when you think you’re being mistreated or taken advantage of. We are weak creatures and sometimes we will attack other vulnerable creatures. Cut out the people who do nothing but hurt you and offer nothing in return and embrace those who love and respect you the most. Best of all, respect your loved ones and dont don’t do anything to them that you wouldn’t want them to do to you.
