Which is worse?

Yesterday I had a pretty good day as far as my anxiety goes. I woke up feeling good, I had a nice, relaxing day. I didn’t feel anxious and didn’t let the things that normally worry me get to me.

Today, that anxiety was back. Not full on, but it was there, whispering in the back of my brain “I’m still here!!!”

I don’t know which is worse. Just having anxiety every day or having a moment that feels good only to go back to anxiety the next day. It’s almost easier to just be anxious all the time so that I don’t get my hopes up that I’ll have a series of good days.

That’s probably not a great way to think about it, but it’s so lousy to crash after feeling so good and normal for a while.

@thoughtfulmomma

The fact that you are having some good days is a real blessing...

if you want to just have bad days so you won't face disappointment the problem would be that these bad days could turn into terrible days. Terrible days could then turn into catastrophic days..

it's good that you are thinking out of the box..

i am sending good vibes to you this New Year...  🌟

I know I need to be thankful for the good days, but they happen so rarely that it almost hurts more than to just be miserable each day.

And I know I'm the one making myself miserable.  My false narratives and thoughts are making all this anxiety happen, and if I could just stop, it would be a new world.
