Work and anxiety/stress
Hi everyone.
I love my job but more often than not I’m getting anxious or worried that I’m not doing things correct or doing them badly. I stress that I haven’t completed something or that I could do them better. This stress is giving me physical symptoms several times a day.
I feel like I’m going around in circles. I love my job so much but it makes my anxiety and panic attacks worse. Just recently moved to a new workplace too which I feel doesn’t help either. Not sure that I can do
@selfconfidentPapaya4488 Hi there! First of all, thank you for opening up about your feelings. It takes a lot of courage to share such personal experiences. It's completely normal to feel anxious and stressed, especially when starting a new job. Remember that you're not alone, and many people go through similar challenges.
It's clear that you have a passion for your job, and that's wonderful! However, it's important to acknowledge that it's okay not to be perfect. Everyone makes mistakes, and it's a part of the learning process. It might be helpful to set realistic expectations for yourself and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small.
Moving to a new workplace can indeed be a significant adjustment, and it's okay to feel a bit overwhelmed initially. Give yourself time to adapt, and don't hesitate to reach out to colleagues or supervisors for support. You might be surprised at how understanding and helpful others can be.
If your anxiety and panic attacks persist, consider talking to a mental health professional. They can provide valuable insights and coping strategies tailored to your specific situation. Taking care of your mental well-being is just as important as excelling in your job.
Remember, it's okay to ask for help, and you're capable of overcoming these challenges. Take things one step at a time, and don't forget to celebrate your successes along the way. We believe in you, and you're not alone in this journey.
Sending positive vibes your way!
