it's so easy to drown in the waves of prioritizing what's important to everyone else above what's important to you, but i hope you learn that choosing you is how you manage the tides, choosing you is how you come up for air, choosing you is how you learn to swim.

Exactly. Putting ourselves first is a hard skill to have sometimes. But, I believe it is important to learn. Nobody is else is going to do that for you. You have to be your own best self-advocate. Only when you, yourself, are taken care of can you help others best. 💜
