anxiety

For me, anxiety isn’t just being nervous, it’s overthinking, feeling overwhelmed, and not knowing how to slow my mind down.

Over time, I’ve been learning what helps me. Things like using a stress ball, doing breathing exercises, and figuring out my triggers have made a difference. It’s not perfect, but it helps me calm down when things start to feel like too much.

I’ve also learned that it’s okay to take a step back and not have everything together in that moment.

If you deal with anxiety too, what are some things that help you cope?

Listening to music.

A warm relaxing bubble bath.

Reminding myself I am safe.

It can't hurt me.

It will pass 🩷

Hi,

Those are some good coping mechanisms that you have learned for yourself.

For me, distracting myself to do any task or having a chat with someone is quite helpful.
