anxious attachment
i just need to tell it to somebody. I've seen this guy twice. he moved to a different city. he started replying to me very rarely and usually in the evening. after the first time he didn't reply for the whole day I sent him a message saying that he could've told me he didn't want to continue it. he said he was busy with moving and I know we was also busy with work. he said that he wanted something serious (i said before that i didn't) and wanted to meet again multiple times but never set a date. then, once we were about to meet we miscommunicated and he thought I wanted to cancel and was mad at me for the miscommunication. later, we talked about it (because I apologised, he didn't reach out) and I suggested 2 dates for meetings. he said he would let me know if he could meet on these days. so the first day afterwards I was fine but on the second one I texted him asking how about our meeting and after not getting a response I asked if something was wrong and soon after said that I felt like something was wrong and that I wanted to tell him that I also wanted something more. (I felt like something was wrong because I didn't expected him to be mad at me before for the miscommunication so I thought that I again did something wrong.) he said he was open to the idea but how could it work long distance. I wanted to call him the next day, he agreed to do it, but when I asked about a specific time when I could call he didn't answer and didn't answer my call the next day. I think he was fed up with my anxious messages and the miscommunication and also couldn't be bothered because of his new busy life in a new city. but it hurts because I feel like if I didn't assume that something was wrong maybe we could still be talking. of course, the connection could fade anyways, but I feel like I caused it because I couldn't wait for his reply. in the beginning I was normal and chill and later I ruined it by being too anxious. I can't bear thinking about this change in my behaviour. if it were meant to fade it would fade but the fact that I contributed to the ending in this way bothers me a lot.

Honey , I’m a 56 yr OLD woman and I’ve been down this road 30 yrs ago. You got better things to do with your life than wondering if they are thinking or feeling about you. Don’t waste your time wondering. Get out there and have fun, hangout with friends if you have any. Play your happy music and dance your butt off. Live life. I wasted way too many hours , days, weeks and months wondering in anxious misery. Once I let go of ruminating whether something could have happened or not because I’d him for me, and just started having fun, life became fun. My happiness attracted happiness and fun. Trust me there’s so many beautiful people out there waiting for you to show up with your happiness vibe.
