feeling empty and don't know who am i
I really need help cuz I feel that I lost all the motivation on my life. I feel so empty very very empty I don't know if I can really explain how I feel but I'll try;
all my days feel the same , the same emptiness the same sadness, I tried to get back to the things I used to love the things I used to do n get so much happy but i always feel lack of passion I feel like I'm not really living I feel like I just exist I feel do lonely but when I try to talk to a friend or someone try to talk to me / texting me I feel I'm running of energy It's feels like a task to me I dont wanna talk w anyone , i wonder if I'm so needy for ppl around me why I push everyone away ?
I don't know if yall gets me I'm sorry this was so messy but I'm not sure what I'm feeling so I don't know how to explain.
n If anyone can't help me or give me advice, just a few words of support or anything would make me very happy.
@marrrrrrrrr
How can i give you words of support, if you instantly push me away. bro? :)
@RedOceanSun i dont think marrrr was looking for a joke XD marrr is asking for help
@marrrrrrrrr
the first thing i usually advice to everyone is to focus on your basic needs for a bit.
try to watch some food/sleep/exercise/dopamine videos, to increase your knowledge in these areas. Not to become some super healthy person suddently, but to discover the simple low effort improvements. can recommend dr k or monkey mind 101 on yt for the dopamine part.
For me i had some major improvements when i realised some super obvious things...
some examples:
- skipping breakfest causes calorie deficit which makes your body refuse a salad for dinner and crave fastfood super hard. i knew breakfest was important, but they forgot to tell me WHY its important.
- wait there is 50% sugar in chocolate but only 10% in chocolate yogurt??? so i can eat 5 chocolate yogurts, and still be on par with 1 chocolate??? random facts like that can really help your diet
- what is dopamine? wait grabbing an extention that hides youtube videos but still lets you search for videos you intented to search for actually stops me from a 3 hour youtube brainrot session? great!
- wait i can get easy dopamine from just going to the gym and doing 1 weight or 1 minute more then the last time? for a satisfying dopamine hit? so people going to the gym often are not willpower gods but just dopamine addicted just like i am??? oooooooooh duhhhhhhhh so i should "yes!!! i did 1 more then last time" instead of "do i look good yet?" and i will automatically look better and better? great!
there are always moments every couple of weeks where you feel strong and escape a spiral and there are always moments you fall back into it again, so learning more about your biology will help you to spend more time feeling strong and less time in the empty zone can really increase your joy in life.
you see...holding a glass of water is not hard...but after 10 minutes your arm really starts to hurt
but its not that heavy actually.....you just FEEL heavy thats all, once you get a good week in you will look at the glass and realise it wasnt all that bad, you were just holding it too long.
marrrrrrrrr put the glass down. you deserve a break from worrying. you deserve proper self care. you deserve love and happiness.
Hi @marrrrrr I know it’s difficult, sometimes you want to change your surrounding but it is not that easy. We all feel that if we change our surrounding maybe we can change and feel alive again.
@marrrrrrrrr
My dear Marrrrrrrr, I hear you.
May I tell you a story?
One morning, in early 2000, I woke up in bed and I couldn't move. Not a muscle, they felt like lead. I started crying, out of the blue, no particular cause, no particular reason. I was lost, miserable, deeply sad and I didn't know who I was.
After two days like that my then partner put me in the car and took me to see our family doctor. I could barely utter a coherent sentence to explain and I was still crying, shaking. The doctor said, "We need to get him the proper help, look at him, he can't go on like this."
He referred me to a mental health team for assessment and, when that was done, I was diagnosed with Bi-Polar Type II and attendant Anxiety Disorder. Meanwhile I had all but shut down, couldn't do a thing for myself.
It took me a while, and I still struggle sometimes today (Bi-Polar II has no cure) but in the last two years I have beaten lung cancer twice.
Believe me, there IS light at the end of the tunnel but the process starts with you. I strongly recommend that you get in touch with your doctor and take his advice, start there and be receptive to whatever plan comes along.
I hope that makes some sense and I hope you get the help you seem to need. Get some people on your side, professionals. That's my best suggestion.
Namaste,
D.
