hello, does anyone have any tips on how to stop peeling back the skin on my nails? I have this terrible habit of ripping biting and rubbing my nails and my cuticles, I really need some tips because I keep going until the point of bleeding and it has been occurring a lot when i’m worried about something.

Firstly, I am sorry that you are going through this 🥺 It sounds painful. I would put an elastic band on my wrist and flick the band, slowly counting go ten until the urge passed me over. Equally you could try breathing techniques to ground you, to prevent you from doing this. If you bite them severely, maybe put something horrible on your nails that you won't want to taste. I genuinely hope you find a way to stop this and to feel better and less anxious 💜😁

i have a tendency to pick my face. Picking I have found is an awful habit to break. First is to be aware of it when you’re doing it. Which I’m not always even aware of it. I’ve asked family to mention it so I’d be cognizant of it but kinda irritating. “I just want to pick leave me alone” LOL I do have foam squishies to clench on with my hands instead. Might help?
