Hello so I got a new job but I am unsure about going to this new job. I am a teacher and I have been brought down a lot by this job. Certain teachers have been talking about me to the principal and she said they felt coming to her because they “don’t know how to talk to me.” It is people that I talk too all the time, but for some reason they went higher over me. I told my principal about how I felt, but I felt she was not taking into consideration that this stuff really affected me. It affected how I would come in the morning to how if I made any mistake it would be told. I got a new job that does have a better, relaxing environment. I am just like idk how to feel I am always so unsure of my decisions because of how I was as a young kid. I just doubt myself from my anxiety and depression. If I do come back they will move me to another grade and if I mess up one good time then that is it.

i agree often those of us that have difficulty or are unsure with making decisions was from a instance or many as a child but in the professional world it is an anchor around a persons neck....

maybe the new job will be a fresh start and you can build confidence in you decision making it is often hard to do in the presence of those who remember past mistakes.... i know it is hard to move to new items when unsure but in reality most people are unsure of making the move what if new place is not all you thought etc........ the only difference is most do not let on and smile through even the bad decisions.......... perhaps you got all the growth and lessons from that workplace and a new place with new people can show you a different perspective and possibilities

That's so much to handle. Being a teacher is a huge job and to have your coworkers go above you to make a complaint sounds to have really brought you down. I get the sense you're very passionate about working with people and to be reprimanded like this was heartbreaking. And now having to chose between your two jobs is a big deal. There is a lot of change and uncertainty with either route you take, that's hard. It's more than making a pros and cons list of whether or not to buy something off Amazon, this is a big decision. It's hard to deal with that type of anxiety. I hope you find peace through it all.
