Dentist Nightmare

Well for starters I have been suffering from anxiety/panic attacks for about 5 years now and up to this point I have been working on trying to conquer fears that I have in my life. This Friday I have an appointment to get all four of my wisdom teeth removed, and I am scared beyond control. I currently am medicated for my anxiety and have been for a while now. On Friday I will be taking Valium the night before and an hour before the appointment, so that I will be calm enough. What should I do? My parents think I should cancel because they say that I am not ready. But I know that this is something I have to do. I will be put under for this procedure and I think that is what scares me the most. My mom is upset and frustrated because I can't do this, and my dad is angry because he wants to just 'fix me'. What do I do? Help please

@GracieLIOB - Hi lovely, I'm sorry that you didn't receive a response when you originally posted this, but I wanted to check in and see what ended up happening. Were you able to go through with the appointment? What helped you most to manage your anxiety?
