Hello, having panic attacks can be a scary experience and having to go through it alone can be difficult but we're all here for you! Well, what I do whenever I have these episodes is that I think that I can overcome it. I distract my thoughts and try to relax through breathing deeply.

My counselor taught me to dip my face and rub my neck in icy water. Sounds dumb but it works really well! The shock brings you mind to the present and your body focuses on slowing your heartbeat and breathing down to enable you to hold your breath because it thinks you're swimming and needs to survive
