I suffer from GAD and panic disorder. I have panic attacks more often than I wish, some small and other really really bad. I've been to the hospital countless times along with visiting my doctor for what I think is "life threatening" and never find anything. I have experienced chest pain/tightness, shortness of breath, dizzy, headaches, choking sensation that lasts a while, thought of swollen throat, trouble swollwing, numbness, stomach pain, etc. just courious on what everyone goes through. I felt like such a "weirdo" for a long time and thought I was just nuts until finding this app and reading that I'm not alone in this type of attacks.

For me . . . I turn red and rash up.

Then I star to pace like fight or flight.

Then I can't stop laughing , and or, I take my hands and shake them in claw form around my ears. Like large head phones. . .

Light headed. Dizzy. A feeling of dread or impending doom. Racing thoughts. Frozen in fear. Just scared . Jittery. Trapped. Confusion. Sometimes shaky. Weird feeling in my chest. Trouble breathing. Weird feeling in my stomach.

When I slip into panic, I experience short breath, irritability, heart palpitations, headaches, muscle tension, blurred vision, frustration, sobbing fits, nightmares, and sometimes I get shakey, I'll be quite and stare off into space. I won't hear a lot of what is going on around me.

I suffer from social anxiety that can lead to panic attacks and also depression and OCD.

Due to my social anxiety most of my anxious feelings play out in social settings. My main symptoms are a fast beating heart rate, feeling dry in my throat, the feeling of not being able to control my body and not being able to think --I am the type of person who frezes in the freze, flight and fight. My body starts to shake and so does my voice; I get uneasy and cannot move smothly; I start to sweat and feel a bit nauseous at times.

Same here. I try to ignore the rising anxiety when I'm in public and am trying to face my fear of social situation each day slowly. Just yesterday, I managed to get gas with my sisters staying inside the car while I pump the gas into my car while there were people outside. I'm a social person but the anxiety is making it increasingly difficult to be surrounded by people and talk to my friends sometimes.

@Deerhuntinbarb i too suffer from GAD and agoraphibia, and i thought for such a long while that i was alone and no one else felt the way i did and even thought i was going crazy, because it would start off with getting really dizzy and my vision getting blurry and id feel like i was about to pass out, then id feel like i was going to throw up and id get really confused as to where i am and thoughts in my head kept racing about all sorts of things, id start shaking uncontrollably and my hear would race, and id feel like i was dreaming but know that im not but still second guess myself and end up in a train of though of whether im actually awake or dreaming although i know fully well im not, then sometimes my toes and fingers will get ice cold and ill have difficulty breathing and feel a lump in my throat, i never really got chest pains but i am asthmatic and my chest would tighten resulting in an asthma attack as well, and also my senses heighten and i taste, smell and hear everything more than usual and i feel like everyones watching me and judging me and a suddenly feel fear overcome by body
and for what? no reason, and i think thats what gets to me :( but i always keep smelling salts or olbas oil around, it helps with grounding me and also with settling my stomach when i get really upset

@Deerhuntinbarb I get the worst panic attacks in my sleep. I feel like there us 100 pound weight on my chest. I choke, gasp, and I can't talk. My chest hurts and feels like it would pound against the invisible weight. Sometimes I can't move.

However my doctors also think it could be my sleep apnea. I think it's panicked first
