Venephobia
I have a big fear of veins. As i'm typing this i can't help but feel weak because of the word itself. When i hear the word or see them I cringe and I get this feeling of paralizing fear. It makes my legs and wrists weak to where I cant really move them because my veins are more prominent there. I can't stand it when people touch my wrists or arms or behind my knee. I also hate touching areas on other people where veins are visible. I once fainted in class due to a video about veins. In school my teacher once grabbed my wrist and i started crying. I don't understand why i have this fear but it affects my everyday life. I can't move my wrists certain ways or else i'll feel/see my veins move. I sometimes would rather have them removed and me die then live with them in me. It's crazy but true. Any ideas on how i can fix this phobia?
I knew someone with the same phobia. I don't know how they managed that because we weren't that close, but you are not
@Sophig alone out there. I wish I could help you with some tips, but there's nothing I can think that may help.
@momoque I shared these resources a while ago. It's more about medical phobias, but I think you could make it work for yourself as well.
