emetophobia??
I always have had a huge fear of vomiting since I was a child, its so awful feeling but recently I find if I feel even the least bit of pain in my stomach or throat I panic completely like sweat and shaking and feeling sick. I get like that around other people and I have to like dash out of the room. I don't know how to calm myself. Its an irrational fear. It's not only embarrassing but really, really unbareable..is there anyone who can relate to this fear or panicking sensation?
I don't think anyone likes vomiting, it's very unpleasant so it's natural for you to not want to ever vomit again. You're probably sweating and shaking from anxiety, almost a panic attack because you're scared. Don't let it bother you too much. You're certainly not alone in this.

I was always terrified of vomiting I suffer from the same kind of phobia, and when i get nauseous it triggers nervousness and tension because I really dont want to vomit no matter what! I have never vomited in my life though. I agree that its an irrational fear but I have yet to find a way to deal with this, however you are not alone
@courageousWater9786 I TOTALLY RELATE. I am the same way. Most of my life. It's awful, but you just keep living and working around it. You are not alone. It's hard to cope with. It's messed up my social life, jobs, EVERYTHING....but God has me still standing. Sending hugs.
I've had the same phobia my whole life. I've only just started therapy for it. There's a really helpful group on Facebook that gives warnings for TV shows and movies. It's changed my life a lot!
My fear isnt of me vomiting its more so when others around me do it. Very strange.
@courageousWater9786 I suffer from this phobia along with another phobia and just know that you aren
@courageousWater9786 TRIGGER WARNING (I talk about my personal experience/thoughts with this phobia)
I have had this fear since I was about 12 (I am 21 now). For me, I know exactly what triggered it: my little sister throwing up in the airport in front of a lot of strangers. Ever since that day, the idea of throwing up has made me anxious, even causing me panic attacks, especially when I'm in public and feel that I can't "escape". I stopped riding rollercoasters, which I used to LOVE, because I made myself believe that I would get motion sick, even though I have been on many rollercoasters before. I stopped eating breakfast before going to school so I wouldn't get sick in front of my classmates. I also developed this thing where if I feel like I am going to throw up, I pinch the bridge of my nose. I remembered the last time I threw up was when I was ten, and I would make myself more anxious by thinking thoughts about my probablity of throwing up going up as the time went on (like a "you're getting closer to the day it happens" kinda thing). As time went on though, my fear lessened, although it is still not completely gone. Last year, I actually got sick(which not going to lie was very nerve-racking up until the point of...you know) but it wasn't that bad once it happened, and I called my mom in excitement to tell her the news lol.
@pinkcomb yas x100000. I also know exactly how long its been since I last got sick, and I also find it helps to grab your nose! Maybe it has something to do with being centered or getting present. I also find if I can get a breeze or some wind or even running my hands under cold water helps. But I totally feel you about when its worse when you cant escape.
I have this fear as well. Sometimes, I even avoid eating certain foods so I don't get food poisoning. I can't even bring myself to say 'the word' most times. I do have dreams about it too sometimes, which really bothers me. It started when a kid I went to school with a long time ago had an allergic reaction, and well, you can guess the rest. I don't why it started to bother me so much after that, but it just became a phobia. I think I handle it a bit better now, but it still scares me.
