Anxiety and OCD "relapse", any help would be appreciated

So I was doing fairly better then this week, but then after my sinuses started acting up my anxiety and ocd came back, seemingly worse. The OCD is really driving me nuts, that whole "monkey mind" element, with constant but truthfully absurd ideas for contamination. Any support right now would be greatly appreciated because this feels almost crippling.

Thanks, both of you, I'm trying right now but it doesn't seem like things are getting better and I feel like im caving to the anxiety and ocd far too much.

@1512 I can relate. I have issues with my sinuses and those symptoms and others often trigger my anxiety. I haven't figured out a solution to my sinuses but I've found that addressing the anxiety and my overactive mind with self talk and other calming methods often helps. I hope you find something that works for you.

@I512 I totally relate to this, so much right now. Anxiety-induced rumination is the WORST and so hard to dig out of. Honestly what's helped me when I'm ruminating is coming on here and venting for 7 minutes in the sharing circle group. I don't know how it's worked, but it sure has! Sending calming thought quieting vibes your way!

I might try that then, seems like talking to people takes something of the edge off.

Just did support chat, not entirely sure how much it helped though, kinda 50/50.
