Anxiety and my marriage
So tonight I was just told that my anxiety issues are getting old and its effecting him and us in a bad way. I should of talked to someone professional years ago (about family but I wasnt mentally ready or financially ready) before it got bad but I refused so now its worse and to sum it all up.....its my fault. Im trying to pin point my anxiety attacks, when I'm feeling overwelmed, I have been exercising at work and home to relieve stress and get healthier, I'm trying to open up more and tell people how I feel right then so it doesnt bottle up and finally .........getting support on 7 cups. (thanks everyone) But because a death in our family recently hit me hard ( father in law- my mom passed the same way when i was younger) it has brought up many memories and I'm grieving also. But he says the last few months have been way worse and its putting a strain on our marriage. I know I'm not perfect in any way at all but I really am trying. I have anxiety and there is a whole lot to do about it in the moment other than what I'm already doing. My anxiety is about greif ( FIL and my mother that I miss so much), my 14 year old son and his school work, my job, Covid, allergies, asthma., money, looking for a house, my neihgbors now. It hurts and I dint know how to fix my anxiety or how to show my husband how my anxiety effects me also. Thanks for the share. It really helps knowing others have anxiety in some way for some reason like me. I'm not alone. Have a good night everyone.

Thank you for opening up here. I am grateful for your trust and openness. You are working hard and that is important. There is no gain in blame, neither from yourself or from others in your life. "Should have" is irrelevant, always. All that matters is what you do now, and you are clearly fighting so hard now. I strongly believe you deserve top credit for all your work, effort, and thoughtfulness. You have an obvious and understandable list of challenges. Your reactions are reasonable, and they are who you are. You have a right to be who you are. You are not destroying your marriage. You are you and you are feeling honestly. Not accepting who you are is damaging, and that is important. You are important.
I believe in you. You are not alone, and I am grateful for you being here and sharing.
Thank you for the supporting words. It made me sit up strighter in my chair and made me put my head up higher. It gave me the extra boost to keep pushing me to be better. Thank you so much.
