Anxiety has returned
Hello all,
Ive been having anxiety on and off since a kid, but each bout having many years in between each episode. Usually I am a non anxious person who never has any feelings of worry during their day, but when anxiety creeps out of nowhere it will last for weeks to months and I tend to dwell on the issue making it worse. I always worry of what may be causing it which tends to not solve anything but prolong the anxiety even more. I dont have panic attacks but just a feeling of anxiousness throughout the day and feeling lost in my thoughts. When I feel like this, my thoughts/imagination always seem to work against me when I try to be logical. I seem unable to bring myself back to center. I am able to get sleep most nights but sometimes become afraid of the many thoughts that drift through my mind as I tend to notice my thoughts more when Im anxious. I am still working a full time job, getting decent sleep, eating when I can, and still making an attempt to not let it ruin my routine. Ive beat this before, returning to my normal self and anxiety becoming a thought in the past which gives me hope. If anyone has any feedback, it would be greatly appreciated!

I know this isn't going to really help, but - I completely understand. I'm right there with you. These episodes of anxiety that just ruin daily life. I'm still trying to figure out how to get through them. Do you have specific things that cause your anxiety, or does it just pop up out of nowhere?
