Anxiety with work/travel

I travel for my job and for as long as I can remember I would get anxious about leaving home. Not anxious to go out and enjoy my day or night, but sleepovers growing up or trips would give me anxiety attacks. I was given a great job straight out of college that pays well but there is travel all the time required for it. I took the job because of the pay but now I find myself having anxiety attacks all the time due to the thought of traveling.

I have medication but take it very rarely as I know it can get addicting. Just seeking some support. My boyfriend is very supportive of me but my mom isn't as much- she says I am being ridiculous and anyone would kill for my job.

Currently am nearing a panic attack right now. I know it seems so small but I can't get over it as much as I want to. Anyone else experience this?

Yes, travel arrangements freak me out. I try not to let them, but sometimes they are very bad. I make sure before applying to a job that travel is reasonable, but we live in a day and age of lies. I've been lied to regarding this. Part of my anxiety is that my employer always seems to want me to pay for some of the travel out of pocket -- sometimes all of the travel. I hope this hasn't been the case for you.

Today I have to travel over 2 hours for work, on my one money. Word says that are willing to provide a car, but they never have one available.
