Anxious of feeling anxious
I seem to be stuck in an endless loop of irrational fear.
I had a few really dizzy spells about 3 months back which led to me worrying something was wrong. I then had a big panic attack, which left me feeling highly anxious even it had passed. I'm now feeling panicky and edge all the time despite having nothing to really worry me. I wake up and within minutes just feel scared and I don't know why. I'm on antidepressants, I just want to return to feeling calm and relaxed. Any advice?

Mindfulness meditation has been definitely helpful for me with anxiety.
There's some guided ones on YouTube that are easy to follow that I could link you towards. :)
@ivoryBeach1985 I hope you feel better soon.
I agree. Building your mindfulness capacity can help with managing anxiety.
As a first step though, have you tried breathing techniques to regulate yourself?
Try...
Breathing in through your nose/inhaling for 5 counts
Hold your breath for 7 counts
Breathing out through your nose/exhaling for 4 counts.
All the best.

Hi there! Your post caught my eye because this is something I, and many people here, can relate to. Anxiety is all about fear, and it's even more powerful when we fear anxiety itself. Here's a video I often go back to that helps me, and it may interest you: https://youtu.be/pJs9Y2eqLuE
Best of luck to you. Take care ♥️

Sorry you're dealing with so much anxiety over being anxious. I used to have the exact same problem. I found that it's helpful to talk to your anxiety like it is your friend and not your enemy. I say things like "Hey Anxiety, I know that you're trying to help but nothing's wrong right now so you can just relax." It's worked very well for me and I hope it works for you too.
