Cat ran away - very anxious and depressed
It feels like grief. She was my only baby after losing our first kitten 4 years ago. We just haven't had any luck when it comes to owning cats. I feel so helpless and wish I knew where she was so I could bring her home. All the uncertainty of Coronavirus and being in lockdown has been stressful enough. This just feels like the final nail in the coffin. I get so wound up worrying about her welfare that I literally feel nauseous with anxiety.
even though I'm working from home I took a sick day. Got some benzos from the doctor and got mum to stay with us. She makes me feel so much better. My husband is amazing too. I'm very lucky to have them. Just wish I could knock this crippling anxiety on the head once and for all.

I'm so sorry you're experiencing crippling anxiety. From what you've described, I can hardly blame you.
I'm sorry you're feeling helpless and have had to take a sick day, but I'm so glad you did. You realised that you needed a break from work, and that's an amazing thing. Self-care is so important. I do hope your cat is found ❤️ I know how traumatic an experience such as this is, and wish you all the best lovely.

@Babygibbon87 , Hi. How are you now? Hope you are feeling better. Jem is right . Self care is important. Hope you try breathing in deeply whenever you feel a little overwhelm. Focussing on your breathing and regulating it helps to calm you and reduces the build up of apprehension.
