I'm managing ok in my panic disorder as of lately; could be better but I haven't had a panic attack in quite a while thanks to medication and good sleep. though lately I've been zoning outmore often than usual. I think this has to do with how the weather is slowly adjusting into spring. Every time the season changes i think i have a mild instability in my mental state, but nothing too bad- just more cases of mild anxiety of panic attacks. (it's definitely nothing like SAD as I only experience anxiety. ) Does anyone else seem to experience this?

(p.s. this is my first post on 7cups- idk who might read this but I'm glad that there is an app/website like this, it's so nice to just keep it on my phone and visit it every one in two or three days)

p.p.s. I couldn't find a panic disorder category for forums so I'm assuming it belongs in the Anxiety category

Hey! I know my bipolar symptoms fluctuate wildly during seasonal alterations. I tend to get much more sriously depressed when the days start to get longer, and have a significant increase in my mixed states when the sunlight shortens in the Fall. Sounds counterintuiive fpr depression to assert itself when the sun comes back, but that's kinda the way it works.... Apparently, a lot of people reporting anxiety and mood disorders (not just SAD) experience seasonal mood fluctuations. Researchers have tied it to the mechanics of the increasing/decreasing availability of sunlight, but who knows?

I hope you can use this information and/or your own astute knowledge of how your moods work to keep you safe, stable, and happy. :)
