Confused.
I am literally lost right now. I love doing things that are related to computer since I was 7 years old, when I was 10 I wanted to create my own program. My grandpa bought a second hand laptop that helped me with my hobby but it didn't last long. Right now I wanted to start again with my hobby, I can't say I have anything else to do it's just that other things don't excite me as much as computers do.. I've been asking them for about four years now for a PC (it could be a second hand) that I could use or what but they keep saying no because i was too young to get one. Recently I asked my grandparents for a Laptop or a PC (I can use for online classes and develop my skills) but they said "no" because I might get addicted and I don't seem to be progressive when I use it so I said ok I understand.. I've tried doing other things instead of improving what I want to improve like my grandma told me to start planting but it doesn't seem to give me excitement.. Now they're going nuts because I'm not doing anything progressive which makes me anxious because I don't know what will happen in the future.. They keep telling me to do what I love but I can't even reach the first step to it.. I am being cautious on everything I do, I think about it thoroughly and it gives me the anxiety.. I want to achieve something but I don't know how in this state, should i just leave what I love doing and do some other stuff that they define as progressive? I don't know. If I could only work and have enough money to buy one for myself I wouldn't feel this bad for having this kind of hobby.. Honestly, I'm confused and frustrated.. Should I start something new?

This is really only a question you can answer as you are the only one who knows what is going to make you happiest. Does it make you more happy to do things with computers or pleasing your relative's views?
Hi, @juicyfruit06, I can see why you would get confused and frustrated. It seems that both you and your grandparents want what's best for you eventhough you have different ideas from your grandparents. You clearly know what you want. Your grandparents know what you want, too, but don't seem to see the value in technologies. That's understandable. While it's great that they want to encourage you to explore other aspects of life (and who knows, you may even find other hobbies), you can hang on to your true passion even if it's something that you'll have to put on hold for a while due to accessability. I'm rooting for you!
