I quit school with two semesters left before graduating. It was because of the app we were working on as thesis. The constant rejections from the panelists and sleepless nights working hard on it detoriated my mental health. Being away from home without proper food made it worse. So i gave up. I quit. It's been almost 2 years. I don't want to go back to that school but seeing my batchmates graduating and have jobs, makes me feel left behind. Like quitting was a wrong decision. Idk.

Everything happens for a reason. Try and explore yourself and your interests. Look what you find interesting and see what you're good at. Try to make a business or career out of something you're good at. Starting is always the hardest step. If you're good at business, try to make your own startup at any good website (for example goibibo.com), if you're good at singing, record your video and post them on social media platforms, and there are many such examples. Regret has never been a choice, but it's okay to feel this way. But you can always start over, start from the ground level. Ever heard of the phrase "begin again"?, you can do that. You go, dude. All the best :)

I know how pain u have, I maybe young to tell u this kind of stuff but I truly know how painful it was for u.

I am scared actually to try... I am insecure about being so dumb... like I wish I was smart as they, wish was the best like them but sadly I'm not.

I feel sorry for my parents. The expectation they have on me...

Hey I’m a bout to graduate and I feel so stressed. Regretting when I had so much anxiety and a panic attack I used notes once just once on honorlock exam and I was about to drop out of school. I’m a good student and I value integrity but the mind gets the best of us. All the best with you I think you should go back or do whatever you’re comfortable with! Hare Krishna. I’m trying to stay strong and so should you!

Hello @goldenHuman4126 ! I understand just how stressful school can be, and putting yourself first to prioritize your needs is a great step! Everything works itself out in the long run. But doing what's best for you is so important! Self-care makes a huge difference, and is a good step to improving your mental health overall:) also, poor mental health can lead to lower grades. I have experienced that first hand. If you would like to go back to school, you can come back and do better than ever! I wish you the best!!

I can see why you might not think that education centered on dialogue and personal development would help you. Dare to learn from sources other than textbooks by venturing out into the world and expanding your horizons. Education consists of doing nothing more than collecting facts and writing them down. But life isn't like that at all. Trying something new is a great way to expand your knowledge. Education about how to quit is a priceless resource for opening doors to better lives. It's a way for people to learn about and practice what interests them most in the world. A wide variety of courses, from those focused on technical knowledge to those emphasizing creative thinking, are available through distance education. Connecting with other experts in your field is a great networking opportunity. People can expand their imaginations, learn new skills, and achieve their goals when they forego formal education. Finding a job that fits your interests and skills can be a great experience.

@goldenHuman4126

I hope you are doing well now.

It's ok; you made a wise choice to quit school for your mental health. Your mental health might have deteriorated further, and there might be worse consequences if you continue to stay in an unsuitable environment. There are many educational pathways, and I’m happy that you are planning for your future as you are recovering from a possible PSTD from your previous school.

@goldenHuman4126 I'm truly sorry to hear about the tough time you went through. It sounds like you were in a very challenging situation, and prioritising your mental health was a brave and necessary choice. It's natural to feel conflicted when you see your batchmates moving on, but remember that your journey is unique, and it's okay to take a different path.

Your well-being always comes first. If you ever want to explore alternative ways to achieve your goals, know that it's never too late. You're not alone in feeling this way 🙏🏻
