Family Anxiety in School

I don't know what posting this is going to do for me, I guess I just want to talk to someone about what's going on and get advice. My cousin and I go to the same school, and we have never gotten along but over break we got into a HUGE fight with each other, like worse than ever before. There are people on both sides, and I know my friends reflect better choices for a more healthy future than her friends, because my friends tell me to show forgiveness, compassion, mercy, and help me truly move on into an emotional place where I can forgive her, but her friends make posts about me and text me from anonymous numbers and basically attack me and it's ridiculous, but I feel like the more people talk about me, the more friends I lose. And that sucks, because I know that I'm being the bigger person by not letting my friends do that, yet I'm the one suffering from it. It's just going to be hard to go back into school and have to deal with half of the people hating me for completely exaggerated stories my cousin tells. Also, I have really bad social anxiety and I used to think everyone hated me already, but now it's way way worse. I'm incredibly sensitive (but getting better) and will cry over things people say to me, and I'm tired of hearing "don't listen to them" because my anxiety makes me. Anyonehave any advice for how to tune out the haters?

It sounds like what you are going through is alot to manage alone <3 I am sorry to hear that you are getting attack that does not sound very easy to cope and manage with. Have you tried to talk to anyone in your life about what is going on? Some things that you can do to help cope and manage with what is going on is:

➣ Think positively about yourself. Saying positive affirmations can be helpful.

➣ Talk to someone about how you are feeling. You are not alone in these situations and you deserver support.

➣ Remeber to breathe and try to avoid the situations where they can attack you this could be hard as you are saying it is also occuring online.

➣ Love yourself and try to let go of what they are thinking of you and think positively about what you believe about yourself

➣ Pratice self care - Drawing, having tea, doing something you enjoy, colouring, mindfulness
