Fear of planes
I keep having nightmares about being in a plane that crashes and every morning I wake up to the sounds of planes outside.
i don't know why they're so loud nowadays but my brain keeps telling me that one day one of those planes is going to drop a bomb and I am going to vanish from this earth
right after a plane passes I hold me breath for a minute fearful and then nothing happens and I always think - the more safe planes that pass overhead means the higher the probability that the next one is not safe.
i know it's dumb but I can't help it

That sounds really scary! I'm sorry that you have such bad anxiety about planes and how they might cause you strife. Having nightmares about them too is just awful--that fear seems to really haunt you. Have you shared how planes make you feel with anyone? For my fears, sometimes it helps me to come up with a montra to repeat to myself when my anxiety starts to spike. One of mine that I tell myself when I feel like I might be some place that could cause me harm is, "I am safe."
A montra could be anything. I hope this helps.

I am sad you feel like that yet I understand since planes are not natural yet we fear of thunder too...I learned, what I could not conquer or do smth about it, I learned to incorporate and accept...like trains, airplanes can be soothing...reassuring regular sounds if you want to transform them like that...in my childhood my grandparents house was in a highway curve in the village and there was always the fear a car or truck will come crushing through the house plus the whole house shook when big trailer trucks passed by...yet, nothing happened...I grew to accept it...
