Feeling overwhelmed with everything and everyone
I had been doing fairly well recently. (I thought) I made it through son's hs graduation. Things were moving ahead, moving forward. My job got better. Getting things together for college...
But right now I am maxed out again. I haven't slept well in days and I've had several days of panic attacks. Sooooo frustrated. There are problems with college stuff (the university is causing the problems, not anything we're doing), I am almost positive my husband is suffering from depression but won't seek help for it, and I'm caught in the middle juggle everything, trying to keep it all together.
I am burned out. I can't seem to turn my brain off to rest unless I take my anixety meds. And I hate that. Not even meditation is working at this point. I just need to breathe and I feel I can't. I feel very alone.
Hello there! It’s so lovely to hear that you were doing well, making it through your sons graduation, your job getting easier, and sorting out all the college stuff, really sounds amazing. It’s not nice to hear that lately you’ve been feeling maxed out ): having to deal with not sleeping well, having many panic attacks, feelings frustrated because the college is making things tough, and feeling like your husband is struggling with depression but won’t seek help. Juggling all of sounds really really tough, stressful, and difficult. It sounds like it is really taking a toll on you mentally ): I can totally understand why you would be feeling burnt out. I can’t imagine how tough that must be for you, not being able to breathe to taking medication that has stopped working for you now ): all of this can definitely make you feel alone. May I ask if you have any ways you’ve been coping with it all? Have you been doing any self care for yourself? Do you have any support system that you could talk to about it? It seems you posted this a while ago. May I ask, how have you been doing lately? Has your situation gotten any calmer? I hope it’s resolved and you’re doing much better! You’re so so extremely strong, resilient, patient, and admirable, for dealing with all this with so much grace. Thank you so much for sharing. We’re all here for you! Keep taking small steps. *hugs if comfortable*
