I'm very tired I don't want no-one. Also I feel like everyone is looking at me or say my name. All my friends think that I hate them they don't understand. Every time I'm outside my heart beats so fast my hands get sweaty i only feel safe inside my home...

I'm a teen

Hi @Kolalolo

I'm very sorry that you feel anxious regarding other people and that contributes to fatigue. It's very normal to feel tired when one is anxious on a daily basis and I can definitely relate to that.

I'm not a teen listener and so I cannot offer my support directly, but I'll wish you all the best in your journey to get better.

May I ask if you have anyone to speak to about these feelings of anxiety? A listener on 7 Cups, a friend that you trust, parent, teacher or a professional. I think it will do you good in the long haul even though it might sounds terrifying right now.

I cannot and will not make comparisons, but I will tell you about what did comtribute to make me feel better. I've had social anxiety since year 7 in school and I didn't start getting better until I seeked professional help. I currently see a therapist who after a couple of sessions suggested attending a therapy group. This seemed like a horrible idea and I was very anxious about it. She was persistent though and I agreed to three sessions to give it a go. The first session was terrifying. They all suffered from anxiety but I was still very uncomfortable about it. I was crying though a lot of the session, but she wanted me to go one more time and I let myself be talked into it. I'm now 5 sessions in and it's very helpful. It's still scary at times, but also so comforting to now and hear from others going through the same situations and feelings that I do.

I wont ask you to join group therapy, but I would highly suggest for your own good to somehow to be active regarding progression. Don't try and jump out from the 10 m springboard without trying from the edge. It may work for some but it's not recommened for everyone. I went to therapy for years before starting therapy with my current one and also group therapy.

I hope this somehow helped.

Take care x
