I am sorry you're feeling like you are. What do you think you could do which would upset them?

It sounds like a general anxiety symptom and maybe a level of insecurity there. Have you considered seeing a doctor to talk about your alternatives or an increase in your medication?

I'm similar to this, I constantly overthink activities. Due to this, i find it hard going on public transport. I have to get lifts or taxis everywhere (which cost a lot!) I don't know why I worry and overthink so much, nothing is going to happen, if it does I can just get off the bus, or talk to someone, ring someone who can calm me. but I still avoid it. I've avoided many a night out with friends because I'm scared of what my anxiety will be like, will I have a panic attack ? will my friends laugh at me? will I be able to find a calm spot to relax? how will I get home? I know how you feel, you're not alone.
sending support and hugs your way xx
