I feel like no matter what I do I
Its 2019, were currently living in a fast paced world where new technologies are being released into the society on a daily basis and competition is always on the rise. I was raised to be the best at whatever I choose to do, but that also put me under a lot of pressure which eventually got to my head. I used to be happy, strong, independent... then anxiety hit. It was like it would do anything to stand in the way of my success let alone my happiness. Now that Im graduating with my BA and an honorable distinction... I dont even get to feel happy. In fact I feel terrified. I dont know whats next. It feels like there are so many prerequisites for life, I feel like I cant keep up at times. Ive pushed people away, isolated myself because I felt like i didnt fit in, I let the wrong people in who left parts of me broken and made me close myself even more than before. My dad didnt help the situation either as he likes to think of himself as the allknowing only way to a successful life and actually made fun of my choice of career after I came out of 4 years of college with a degree in hand. I just feel like Im spiraling and no matter what I do its never going to be good enough. Not for my dad, not for the world , not for me .

I think a lot of people feel what you feel (to some degree) in the sense you're out of school, degree in hand and the whole world a new challenge ahead.
Firstly, if you have can then you should see a professional for the anxiety. Maybe the medications can help if what you're having is medically relevant.
If its just regular jitters and anxiousness about what to do next then that is more easily solvable. Stop comparing yourself to others or what other people consider to be success for you. I mean, don't disregard it completely but you have to know what is acceptable and what is just plain impossible.
Take the win, be happy with your successes. You worked hard for your degree and now you have it, the university thought you were qualified enough to have it, after all.
It is daunting in 2019, so many things going on and with social media we see what other people are doing and constantly bombarded with information its easy to be overwhelmed. Just take it easy, focus on you. Ignore everything else or at least stop injecting yourself into everything else. Just observe and don't stress about it. Don't participate in the vicious grind.
