Ok, so I have not been on here in a really long time because I was getting so much better. A little about me is that I have anxiety, depression, chronic migraines, OCD, and a weird phobia of geese. Right now I am supposed to be finishing my senior year but with everything going on with Covid-19 and everything being canceled I am having a really hard time. I figured maybe I can just type away all my feelings right now. I don't know what I am feeling its like I have all the emotions yet I am numb to them. I don't know how to explain it and now I'm in a panic attack because I have a huge cap government test tomorrow that I haven't studied for because I'm depressed and have no motivation to work on anything. I think I'm reacting physically to my anxiety because I feel super nauseous and my legs are breaking out in hives. Honestly, I don't know what to do or how to feel or how to cope with all of this. I know I'm a hot mess right now but I figured maybe talking about it with others might help me feel better.

Does anyone have suggestions about getting motivation when depressed?

How do I cope with losing the end of my senior year?

Is it ok for me to be disappointed in missing out on so much of my senior year?

What do I do about finding an apartment for college if I can't go see the place?

@Penguinlover01 The thing about life is we get "better" and then we seem to lose it all in a moment. And that's okay, my favorite word. I feel that I am similar to you and put pressure on myself to cope, to become motivated, and to get rid of these feelings because they are frustrating and troublesome. But it's okay to be disappointed in missing out on your senior year, it's okay to be anxious and unmotivated to study. But I realize there are repercussions if you do not study for your test and my two cents would just to not find motivation but do a small step like put the study materials in front of you. I spend so much time trying to find motivation, but the easiest is to do small steps and the rest will slowly fall into place.

It is a difficult time with COVID-19 and many people are stressed, lonely, and scared....and we are allowed to feel this way. Losing your senior year is not an easy thing and I think there is power in accepting our feelings. It's hard to do as I am still learning as well, but one step at a time.

*I am in no way an optimist, but it also helps to just appreciate the small things but of course this is not easy to do when depressed...anywho I find you relatable and hope that you find peace in these weird times
