I live in an anxiety jungle
I have determined that this is the best way to describe my anxiety and how it affects me.
There I am in the jungle. Each vine is a separate anxiety. I grab a vine, hang on and jump and deal with that issue for as long as I can. Instead of just jumping down to the ground and letting go of the issue, I grab onto the next vine and start dealing with the next issue. And so on, and so on. I don't allow myself a break to stop swinging, and I don't allow myself a chance to be happy.
Today I had one anxiety, and I was stressing about it. Then something changed to end it. Great, right? No. Because the change meant that someone else was going to be unhappy and so I started worrying about that person and how I could help. I just jumped to the next problem, even though there was absolutely nothing I could do to help except just be supportive.
I'm tired. I don't want to keep swinging. My arms are tired. All the tension constantly fills my body. I just want to be happy.

I can totally relate to this. The intense anxiety is new to me, about 2 months now. As soon as one problem is solved, I find another to worry about. I just cannot relax. It is exhausting. I am so worn down. I am also looking for anwers, so I am not much help. Please just know you are not alone in this.
