I made it 4 days before crying
I promised myself I wouldn't cry this semester. I promised myself I'd face everything like a champ. I promised myself that this time itwould be different. All it took was two coworkers kicking the same old hornets nest and I've been crying all day. I ave lost productivity. I barely made it through my classes.
All it takes if them ragging on my preferences in movies, music, or games and suddenly I am a child all over again. I'm just abandoned and alone. Nobody defends me when I defend everyone else. Nobody steps in to ask me about my day. Just a wall of indifference. I don't know why I thought it would all be different. It never is. I need this job more than anyone at it needs me. Poor and in college is just somehow asking to be treated like a child.

Of course, it's really painful to be belittled and bullied by the people around you, and when no one defends you. You're trying your best to stay strong for so many days in these difficult situations and that's really brave and admirable. ❤️ It's completely okay that you cry. It's a tough situation to be in for anybody. I really hope things get better for you soon. 💕 How are you feeling right now?
@RainyMemory97 Right now I've been wallowing all weekend watching TV and hiding in my room. I don't have any friends who are available to talk to, so I spend a lot of time hiding in the library or my room. My schedule cannot accomodate sick days or counseling appointments. I spend a lot of time alone in my head. I don't know what to do with all this. Everything that brought me joy just depresses me now because all those things are children's things.
I'm a 24 year old child.

Go a bit easy on yourself 🙂
You're not a child for having a hard time with bullying. The bullies are wrong not you. I hope you soon meet some people who'll accept you for who you are and what you like, everyone deserves that
@Himeko1995 Dealing with bullies is never easy, especially in the workplace. I had to in my workplace a couple years back. The bully is the sister of the head of my department and was my direct boss. It wasn't easy, and started an HR investigation into this persons behavior. I wasn't the only person she was bullying, but I was the only one standing up to her. It wasn't easy but I got through it.
You'll get through this in time. Takes steps to distance yourself at work from them. Remember you only have to deal with them at work, and make sure to talk to someone about this, either a friend at home, at work, a therapist, etc, but don't bottle it up inside.
You aren't alone! Sending you love and light.
@BradleyK I called my mom the other night and talked to a friend over the phone. I'm away at school while this is happeneing, but the calls did help. Thank you.
@Himeko1995 I'm glad it help! My father says "there's more room out than in" I'm a firm believer in finding a safe place and talking! Way to go taking care of yourself!
@BradleyK Your dad is very wise.
@Himeko1995 In some matters, in others very narrow minded, but that's a story for another time.
