In denial about anxiety
Currently, I am in denial about my anxiety. I think having anxiety makes me a horrible person and I don't want to admit that I need support for anxiety because I fear then every mean thing anyone close to me has said will be validated. So I spend my days trying to control anything my emotions, compulsively house cleaning, being angry, etc. When im not controlling something I usually am in a state of self pity. I'm ready to finally admit I have anxiety and my lack of coping with it has pushed people in my life away.
@creativeMelon8274 I too feel the need to tell myself nothing is wrong even when it's okay that everything isnt perfect all the time. What helps me is remembering I'm not alone. Lots of people feel what I feel.
I would highly suggest going to see the doctor, explaining your symotoms and thoughts. As a result of 28 years in denial of this - I have lost the love of my life. He walked out on me as a result of not knowing and us not knowing what was going on with me. Face it now rather than having another fear to face.

This is a good thing you are realizing because it's a step toward letting go of needing to control everything. You may find some relaxation with the mindfulness section of 7cups path menu which has helped me to find a more calm spot in my mind away from all the constant "babble" of thoughts (they'll still babble but it's less in the middle of it there when focussed on breathing and the audio).
My anxiety led to deep depression which made me recluse away from things which pushed people away perhaps in another way.
