Is it just me...

I know to me it's like ADHD. I cant have a mess in my place. When stacks of paper or just random items start to pile up I go crazy and I start to panic. Plus it adds stress when I'm looking for something and I have a bunch of piles of paper or other items just everywhere I started to organize. I read someone that a mess house can give you anxiety even if you dont feel like it and causes other issues as well.

A clean and organized space surely is more relaxing and helps to focus better on things . Do you think maybe cleaning out the space in chunks ,divisible areas so that you don't feel overwhelmed also could be helpful ?

It's not just you. I'm the same way. When my house is a mess, I can't focus, and when it's clean it's like I can breathe again. I have a toddler, a dog, and a husband who doesn't get the need for clean, so keeping my house clean is a constant struggle and source of anxiety. I'm working on feeling peace even if my environment doesn't feel peaceful.
