Whenever i feel nervous, i started to do mistakes. For example, i want to press multiply. In calculator but pressing other button instead. And people that see me tell me to keep calm. I think it's anxiety

Anxiety is so horrible to deal with and distracting the mind by doing things. I hear you when you say you was meant to click the multiply but clicked the wrong button. Your not alone in this.

@worryBear I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this. While anxiety is very common it can still be very difficult to cope with at times, especially when you feel like it's affecting your life (and leads to the creation of mistakes, such as pressing the wrong button on your calculator). It's good that you're reaching out to talk to people about how you're feeling, another thing you could try are some relaxation and grounding exercises, which could help reduce your nerves. Have you tried any before to help you cope?

Everything will be okay. With anxiety is can seem daunting to do even the simplest task. It can be very difficult but I want you to remember that this is temporary amd you'll get through it

@worryBear It sounds like you're experiencing some anxiety related challenges especially when it comes to performing tasks under pressure. Feeling nervous can sometimes lead to moments of distraction.

@worryBear

im sorry this is happening and that all people say to you is to just calm down. Its frustrating to deal with esspecialy with exams and grades on the line and making mistakes can cost you time. When i make mistakes like this its usually when my brain is going at a mile a minute, i try to practice typing correctly under pressure at home to practice taking deep breaths and try to focus on each number at a time. If you make a mistake you can press the backwards button and just delete the one number instead of having to redo everything so it costs you less time. And with practice it gets easier to manage aswell

@worryBear feeling nervous can really throw off your game, even with something simple like using a calculator.

Have you found any tricks that help you relax when those nerves kick in? Sometimes taking a deep breath or stepping back for a moment can make a big difference."

@worryBear It sounds like you're experiencing anxiety, which can certainly affect how you function in everyday tasks like using a calculator. I know I personally experience this. Practicing relaxation techniques, like deep breathing or mindfulness, has helped me tremendously. What are some things that have helped you? Remember you are not alone.

@worryBear I understand your point.   Sometimes, even if we know what to do and, how to do something, our anxious thoughts make it a little difficult to do that thing.

I believe that once we make a mistake it reinforces our anxious thoughts for the next time, but I also believe that mistakes happen even when we are not anxious. And we all deal with in some way or the other. We all are the same.

Hey I'm so sorry you've been going through this. Anxiety can get in your way of day to day tasks no matter how small they are. Your concerns are very valid. As a person who has had past experiences with anxiety, i can tell you that i also went through the same thing so i assure you that you're not alone on this. I really hope you feel better and get through this.
