It's Not My Fault

Some things are not my fault. A rainy day. Stock portfolio down. A flat tire. Whatever. I have no control over these things in life. So do not dump your frustration about it on me. It's not my fault. I didn't do anything wrong, and I shouldn't be made to feel as if I have, and my anxiety shouldn't be taxed because of things I have no control or involvement in.

Just needed to get this out there.

I'm sorry @thoughtfulmomma that you have someone who is blaming you for things that are out of anyone's control. I know here, a lot of people have been on edge and more confrontational because of the added stress of the coronavirus. That's not an excuse by any means but I want you to know that you aren't alone. I've had people yell at me for things that are out of my control and I have been guilty of projecting too. I am working on bettering my own behavior and I am trying not to take it personally when it happens to me in return. Its just that people are scared and they want to blame SOMEONE if that person isn't responsible.

I hope this anger passes soon. And I hope that even if the world feels hostile and stressful, 7 cups can remain understanding and empathetic.

@SecretlyMe

Thanks. 7 Cups is my oasis. My Secret Garden. I know people are on edge, but I just am done with negativity, nastiness and blame. I wasn't raised to be mean or an asshole. I was raised to be kind and caring, to be helpful and supportive. But it feels like no one else around me is.

There are days where becoming a hermit in some cave somewhere sounds like a fantastic idea. :)

@thoughtfulmomma Well the world is lucky to have you in it to help balance all that negativity around you. It's a draining position to be in. Don't forget to take care of yourself and take some time to be alone if that's what you need from time to time.
