Just When Things Were Getting Better (I thought)

I'm at a very low point again. My anxiety is probably a 9 out of 10 this morning. Yesterday I learned that my son was struggling again. He's having some anxiety attacks due to things he's thinking about. Big topics. Life, existence, religion, etc. On a positive side, he was willing to talk to me a little bit about it. And at the end of the day yesterday I felt okay. But this morning - no. I'm a wreck. Due to my worries and concerns for him, my anxiety has spiraled. I'm scared. Plain and simple. I have work to get done today but I just want to lay on the couch and do nothing but sleep.

@thoughtfulmomma There's always stuff to do and anxiety can disrupt our plans when you figure out about your son's anxiety concerning existence, religion, life, etc. You were fine yesterday, but today you feel unstable and horribly anxious and that is okay. None of us are ever going to be happy, peaceful, or calm all the time. These feelings will come and go like they always have and it's okay if your son feels anxious. Life is confusing and it will bring anxiety and sometimes us trying to fight the anxiety only worsens it, so be gentle with yourself and your son. You both will be okay and I believe deep down, you know this as well.
