Lost
I just found out I may not be able to return to work because of some of my medications! Inside I'm freaking out! Worried about how to support my family. I'm the primary bread winner. I've had this job for 6 years. I work in the marine industry and one of my medications isn't approved for use aboard. I had my breakdown 2 months ago while at work. I've been on medical leave since then. I'm scared and trying not to let my husband know how I feel right now. He's been my rock the last few months. Until all of this is cleared up I don't want to put one more worry on his shoulders. Thanks for listening!
@BradleyK That's really worrying, yes. The stability of your job is so important to you and your family, but now this one medication has turned out to be a threat to it. I suppose you have already asked about getting some kind of special approval for this medication, or getting an alternative medication, or getting therapy instead. And keeping it hidden from your husband makes things even more difficult for you, I imagine.
