Misunderstood
I feel like I do have a very clear idea of myself and my life. I feel like I am doing hard and valuable work which is important to me and others. However, the closest people around me don’t acknowledge any of that. To them, I am lazy, I’m spending my time on worthless/ trivial things and If I’m stressed it’s because I’m simply not up for the task. Not because my work can be stressful. All I want is for someone to ask me “how are you doing” or “tell me about your work” but that would require them to acknowledge my existence as worth paying attention to.

Hello,
It's certainly a tough feeling when we feel unappreciated by those around us!
A little appreciation can go a long way.
I can see why you would feel like your hard work goes unnoticed.
Someone simply asking "How are you doing?" does wonders and makes us feel cared for.
I'm sorry that those around you make you feel unacknowledged.
Have you brought this up to them? 💛💫
