Morning problems
Woke up just feeling every symptom in the book and trying to shake it off so I can function at work. It's miserable. I tend to have a very short temper when my adhd and anxiety both decide to come out at the same time and it's really hard to separate my real feelings from the ones my brain is telling me I should be having. It doesn't help that work is stressful on a good day. I wish brain's had a off switch. Like not today brain, I have things to do. I don't need to be hyperventilating in the bathroom trying not to cry all day.

dude, I feel you. I was like that the entire 2021. It was an office job and I held cases. I saw 15-20 new clients every week but with covid, we were seeing 17-20 new clients and held up to 50 progressing cases. Our leads are even behind in moving out the completed cases, so a lot of staff were holding up to 170 cases. Just imagine the intake, the progressing cases, and then the updating which my unit doesn't really do and often that means extra work. Plus, dealing with the other agencies and customer services. ugh!! And then, on a good days we still have to be updated on regulations. And I developed insomnia, anxiety, and paranoia. There were days I didn't even wanna answer my phone. Sometimes when I got off the phone with clients, I felt like crying. There were times when my clients would yelled at me but I had to stay calm so I could processed what they're saying and not zone out. I quitted 12/2021 even though my supervisor offered me intermittent leave, but I had to make the decision because I had two mental breakdown with each one spending a week off with PTO.
I am sorry that this is happening to you. Have you talk to your supervisor about lowering your workload or other assistance to help you cope? Maybe work less hours?
