Nauseous in the mornings

For the past few weeks, I've had the most intense anxiety that I've ever had before. I'm taking medications for it but it seems like it's taking forever for my body to start having a positive reaction to the medication. A big thing that this anxiety has done for me is made me completely lose my appetite. I still eat a bit of food everyday because I know it's good for me but I never have the urge to eat. I think the lack of food I'm eating is what makes me so nauseous every morning. At this point, it's pretty much guaranteed that I'll retch every morning now. All of this is to say, is there anyone else who is experiencing/experienced the same thing and how did you overcome it?

@Isabel72 did you inform your doctor about this? I would ask. Maybe medication can be changed too

When I had very bad anxiety I was trying to have protein shake in morning as liquids seemed easier.

In morning what I was finding to help me was to rock slowly but rhythmically while lying down in foetal position. I'm not sure if it's useful but I found my body started doing it in its own for self comfort

Wish you well

@Isabel72 Different reasons but I have a lot of experience with morning nausea. I agree about discussing medication options. Sometimes though it just takes time to adjust and side effects fade.

When nauseated when waking up zi find the best thing is to get something on my stomach although there are different groupings of things thst wirk. Sometimes it's a drink that has sugar - juice, smoothie, weak tea with sugar. Other times it's really cold fruit based things. Semi frozen applesauce is great. Other times it's dry carbs, toast, crackers, biscuit type cookies to add in a bit of sugar. Other it's something more substantial, toast with peanut butter, yogurt, oatmeal.
