Not again...
I woke up briefly at around 4 and then again a half hour before I was supposed to wake up. I noticed my pulse was weak? And I had this weird feeling in my chest. Laying on my back helped but I can't fall asleep in that position.
I was going great for so long but now I have something to worry about, now my health anxiety is back. I don't know if these symptoms are just because I was doing a lot of labor yesterday, or maybe just me not getting enough sleep, or...if it's me being around smokers at work...people who don't give a fuck about my health (mostly the owner, but the other person seemed to kinda get the message once I made a jab about not wanting his lung cancer. He even decided to try quitting again.)
Idk.
I am sorry that youv are going through this.
@Phthalo
That does sound scary! I know I get things like that occasionally, and I'm left wondering how on earth did it happen?! It usually goes away as fast and mysteriously as it began, so I hope it's the same for you. It can be quite unsettling, so I really don't blame you for being anxious about it.
Feel better soon!
@Phthalo
I'm sorry that the area where you live hasn't made it a bylaw to have smokers leave the premesis of workplace to do the smoking yet.
I sometimes get heart palpatations (sort of a fluttery feeling for only a second) which used to worry me before I knew that was normal for some people and can happen more with high anxiety. Hope knowing this helps a bit.
Hi @Phthalo
I'm sorry to hear that your health anixety is back and that you're going through this. I don't know if this will help in any way, but it's very normal that your pulse is weak when you sleep and therefore also when you first wake up, because your body needs less energy when sleeping than when you're awake. A resting heart rate that is low can also be a sign of good health/being fit.
