Not too well
Right now I'm stuggling with issues of not being able to fall asleep because of constant thoughts I can't turn off and paranoia. The paranoia one is kinda of new for my though. I struggled with it a long time ago after a traumatic incident but it went away after some time. This is the first time in years that it has started to show up again. I will be up at night with a weird feeling that someone is watching me or that something is wrong but I know it's not true because I have two giant dogs in bed with me and they would know if something was off. I don't know why I'm suddenly having this issue again after all this time but I can't fall asleep because of it.
@Km99j I'm having the same problem right now. I'm not sure about you, but speaking from my own experiences, looking up breathing excersizes on the internet that work for me or putting on rain sounds from my TV before I go to sleep always really help. I always put on rain because rain always calms me down, and it brings back a lot of good memories, but it might not be rain for you. Try and find something that really makes you feel at home and safe, it might be a certain sound or a certain aroma from a candle or something that really just gets you in a safe frame of mind. Things like that always seem to work for me at least. I'm sorry you're feeling that way, and I wish you the best. I'm not sure if my suggestions were worth anything, but I hope you find something that works!

I agree with @demontrash about putting on some kind of white noise to sleep with. I use noise all the time for sleeping. I hate it when it's quiet because my brain goes into overtime. I think about EVERYTHING and I can't seem to quiet myself.
Set yourself up a nice routine at bedtime to fall asleep peacefully and get some solid rest. Everyone will have a different routine. In another thread I was telling someone that I tell myself that going to bed is "me time." Whatever has happened in the day doesn't matter. Whatever will happen tomorrow doesn't matter. This is a time for me to be happy. I smile. I make sure the pillows are just right. I will have a scented candle near me (not lit) or spray some perfume or room spray with a favorite scent. I use some meditation apps or play some games on my phone to get me drowsy. (I know, they say not to do screens before bed, but I do anyway!) And then I put on some sound - sometimes it's very calming, lo-fi or meditation music, sometimes it's white noise (search You Tube for white noise), sometimes it's nature sounds. Whatever it is, I need it to go for 8 hours. If it's short, I tend to wake up, and then I start thinking about things. When it goes all night, I still wake up, but I hear the sounds, focus on them, and then fall back to sleep.
