Paralyzing Anxiety

July 16th, 2016

I have a boyfriend that works away from home 3 weeks a month and then is home for 10 days. Last January he slept with a couple worker and I found out. That was resolved and we moved on.

I am pretty sure he is trying to starting to communicate with a new woman he met while traveling back to work. All the same signs are there as last time- little contact with me (busy and tired), no more sweet messages (just good morning and good night) etc

I try to tell myself all is good but I can't stop obsessing about it. I check my Facebook messages and texts constantly to see if he's gotten in touch with me. I just spent the last 45 mins analyzing all his Facebook friends to figure out who the new woman is. This is not healthy I know!

I just don't get why he doesn't break up with me and start dating this new woman. Why lie and pretend he wants to be with me while he is in contact with me?

And why won't I break up with him? I don't get why it is so hard for me to do that.

Aaaaggghhhh!

He broke the trust in your relationship and although it was resolved, it will always be in the back of your mind. Cheating only once can be enough to slowly destroy a relationship. It's already tearing away at you because your trust has gone. What he's done is unforgiveable, causing all thise stress for you.

He's comfortable with you, it's probably too much effort to go through a break up with you, then try it on with that other woman. She also might refuse him so then he'd lose two women so he doesn't want to take the risk. Instead he wants to go behind your back and betray your trust and relationship. Your relationship, sadly, has no value to him anymore.

It's a shame that you don't realise your self worth and that there's a guy out there that would never cheat on someone as amazing as you! He's obviously not right for you or anyone when it comes to a relationship. If you're not very self confident, then it's harder to let go of a relationship and be self dependent. You might feel that you're not able to get any better than him - but you can!

He's the cause of this stress and anxiety and you know how to relieve it.

I'm sorry he did this to you. I wish you well. ♥
